Shared Hosting Server Resource Usage
|
All Host Pinoy's hosting servers are using automated resource monitoring software. This automated resource monitoring software monitors system load and many other factors as well. In the event a single account begins to utilize an excessive amount of system resources, this account is automatically suspended by the resource monitoring software until in can be enabled without causing any drop in the Quality of Service provided to the other Host Pionoy clients on the server. When your account is suspended you will not be able to access mail, ftp or your website. If you attempt to visit your website you will receive a "403 error". Below are the answers to some of our client's common questions.
Why did you suspend my account? If your account was suspended by our monitoring software this action was taken to ensure that the other Host Pinoy clients on your shared server are not unfairly affected by the resource usage spike on your account. Our monitoring software was written with all of our Host Pinoy clients in mind. When will my account be unsuspended? Your account will be unsuspended automatically as soon as the system load drops to a level where your account will not cause a disruption to other users. What factors does the resource monitor watch? Our resource monitor watches many system factors, but the primary one involved in number of processes running under your account (this includes concurrent web connections, mysql connections, pop3 connections and ftp connections among others). What should I do to get my account unsuspended? First of all, firing off an e-mail to Host Pinoy support telling us your account has been suspended and asking us to unsuspended will not get your account unsuspended any sooner. When your account was suspended the Host Pinoy administrators were notified. Just sit tight for a little while, and wait for the account to automaticly be unsuspended. If your account is still suspended after 1-2 hours. Simply mail a request to Host Pinoy support asking an administrator to review the situation. Why does my account keep getting suspended? If your account is frequently suspended by our automated system you may want to consider upgrading to a dedicated server. Contact our sales department for more information. NOTE: Actions taken by our automated resource usage system are taken in accordance with our Terms Of Service, which you agreed to when you signed up with Host Pinoy. See the section titled System Resource Usage. Host Pinoy does not offer account credits for time your account was suspended due to excessive resource usage. |
